Neurofeedback & Acupuncture

Two paths to a calmer, better-regulated nervous system.

We offer LENS neurofeedback and acupuncture as two independent, complete treatments — each effective on its own, and available together when that fits you better. Come in for one, the other, or both.

Service — LENS Neurofeedback

A feedback loop, not a workout.

Traditional neurofeedback asks your brain to work for a reward — LENS doesn't. A sensor reads your brainwave frequencies and a very brief, very low-power signal is offered back to your brain, mirroring its own activity a fraction of a second later.

That tiny interruption is often enough to nudge a "stuck" pattern — the kind associated with anxiety, poor sleep, or a foggy head — toward something steadier. You don't do anything during a session. You simply sit, and your brain does the adjusting.

How LENS works

What a course of care actually looks like

Each step builds on the last — regulation is gradual, and the plan adjusts as your brain responds.

01

Initial consult

We talk through your history, symptoms, and goals, and map out a realistic plan before anything begins.

02

Baseline mapping

Sensors placed on the scalp read your brain's current activity — no gel, no discomfort, no prediction required.

03

Feedback sessions

Short, seated sessions where the system offers gentle feedback. You can read, rest, or just sit quietly.

04

Track & adjust

We check in on how you're sleeping, feeling, and functioning between sessions, and refine the plan accordingly.

Service — Acupuncture

Acupuncture: a targeted treatment for pain, stress, and nervous system regulation

Acupuncture is used for everything from chronic pain to digestive issues to stress relief. Using fine, sterile needles at specific points on the body, it's a gentle, low-intervention approach that works with your body's own nervous, digestive, and musculoskeletal systems to ease tension, relieve pain, and restore balance.

Sessions are calm and low-intervention: most people find the experience deeply relaxing, often noticing effects on both physical symptoms and overall stress levels after just a few visits.

About the practice

Small practice, close attention

This is a small, focused practice — every client's plan is built individually, sessions aren't rushed, and you'll work with the same practitioner from your first consult through your last session. No franchise script, no rotating staff.

If you're not sure whether LENS is right for you, the first consult is exactly the place to find out — no pressure to continue afterward.

FAQ

Common questions

No. The feedback signal offered back to your brain is extremely low-power and isn't felt or perceived — it's informational, not stimulating.
It varies by person and by what you're working on. We'll set expectations at your consult and reassess regularly rather than locking you into a fixed package.
No effort is required. Most people sit, close their eyes, or read quietly while sensors record and the system offers feedback.
Some people feel mildly tired or "spacey" for a few hours afterward. This is usually a sign the brain is recalibrating, and it typically passes on its own.
Coverage varies by provider — ask at your consult and we'll help you understand what documentation you'd need to submit a claim.
